This Privacy Policy describes how PKM Universe ("we", "our", "us") — operating the website at pkm-universe.com and the associated Discord community — collects, uses, and shares information.
1. Information We Collect
- Discord account data: when you interact with our Discord server or Discord bots, we receive your public Discord user ID, username, avatar, and server roles. We do not receive your email, phone number, or password.
- Trade and bot interaction data: when you use our Pokémon trading bots, we record the trade request (species, set, timestamp) so the bot can fulfill it. This is stored locally on the bot host and is not sold or shared.
- Verification data: members who go through our verification flow at verify.pkm-universe.com may be checked against publicly available IP reputation services (VPN/proxy/Tor detection) for anti-spam purposes.
- Public social media data: we read publicly available statistics from social platforms (such as the public follower / video counts on our own social-media accounts) to power notifications and announcements in our Discord. We do not collect any private user data from those platforms.
- Server logs: standard web-server access logs (IP address, browser user-agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention. Logs are retained for up to 30 days.
2. How We Use Information
- Operate the Discord community, trading bots, and Pokémon Home / on-platform features.
- Detect and prevent abuse, ban evasion, raids, and scams.
- Send Discord notifications (including new social-media uploads, trade-bot status, events).
- Maintain and improve our website and bot services.
3. Information We Do Not Collect or Sell
We do not collect personally identifying real-world information (legal name, address, phone, email, payment data) and we do not sell, rent, or trade any user data to third parties. We do not run third-party advertising networks on this website.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate. Each one has its own privacy policy:
- Discord (community + bot platform): discord.com/privacy
- Cloudflare (DNS, CDN, tunneling): cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
- TikTok (when a user follows our official TikTok account or we display public TikTok stats): tiktok.com/legal/privacy-policy
- Pokémon HOME / Nintendo: trading bot operations interact with first-party Nintendo systems; no first-party Nintendo account data is stored by us.
5. Data Retention
Trade history is retained for up to 90 days for support and dispute resolution, then deleted. Discord user identifiers tied to bans or moderation actions are retained for as long as the action remains active. Server logs are retained for up to 30 days.
6. Your Rights
You may request deletion of any data we hold about you that is not required for fraud prevention or legal obligations. Submit a request via DM to a moderator in the PKM Universe Reborn Discord, or email the contact below.
7. Children's Privacy
PKM Universe is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of our services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
