How It Works

From "I want a shiny Diancie" to it being in your box takes about 90 seconds. Here is exactly what happens.

Join our Discord server

Click discord.gg/pkm-universe-reborn. You're greeted by Cyndaquil (our community bot) and given a Member role automatically.

Read the rules and pick a game channel

Our channels are split by game (e.g. #mew-sv, #flareon-lgpe). Each channel is bound to one specific trade bot.

Request a Pokémon with a Showdown set

Type $t followed by a standard Showdown set, for example:

$t Diancie @ Magnet
Ability: Clear Body
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4 HP

The bot validates legality

Behind the scenes, the bot uses PKHeX to verify the encounter, IVs, EVs, ability, moveset, and ball are all legal for the Pokémon's origin game. Illegal requests are rejected with a clear error.

You receive a queue link code

The bot DMs you a unique code (8 digits in most games, three Pictocode icons in LGPE). You enter it on your Switch when starting Link Trade.

The trade happens automatically

Open Link Trade in your game, enter the code, the bot connects within seconds, and you swap a throwaway Pokémon for the one you requested. Total trade time on the Switch is usually under 30 seconds.

Ship the result to HOME or use it in-game

Every Pokémon we deliver passes Pokémon HOME's encounter validation. Throw it in HOME, transfer between games, use it competitively, or just admire it in your box.
